Central European Startup Awards, a competition aimed at startups whose products or services are based on innovative technological solutions, has nominated the winners of the competition in Romania. Here is the list of Romanian startups, Romanian founders and investors who won the local CESA 2019 final and which enters the CESA regional final, which takes place in Bucharest on November 21.
Out of more than 800 nominations, more than 60 finalists, 13 are on the podium and move on to the regional stage.

Impact Hub Bucharest is the official partner of the national competition, but also in organizing the regional grand final on November 21 in Bucharest, which will bring together representatives of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Central and Eastern Europe.
Central European Startup Awards (CESA) is a competition in 10 countries – Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary – and addresses startups whose products or services are based on solutions. technological innovations.
Here is the list of finalists from Romania in the CESA 2019 competition.
The competition puts the focus of entrepreneurs and startups that contribute to progress, which propose changes and solutions, which are differentiated by impact, growth and innovation.
The categories for which nominations could be made cover the tech industries (from fintech to AI to health tech, blockchain, smart city, best accelerator, best social impact startup, IoT), but also categories addressed to other types of market players ( coworking, investors, accelerators or female role models).
On September 3, the CESA organizers published the lists of finalists from each of the European countries participating in the competition. The CESA 2019 finalists from Romania could be voted until September 25th.
The winners of the local final will then compete in the regional stage. The winners of the regional stage will be announced during an international celebration and connection event that Impact Hub Bucharest organizes on November 21st. Entries for this event, the Central European Startup Awards Grand Finale, will be open starting October 1st.
