We outline the startups and companies in Eastern Europe that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate in revenue between 2013 and 2016, thus singling out the unicorns and prosperous companies that helped with job creation and drove the domestic economic growth in the eastern part of Europe.
Not surprisingly, same as in whole Europe, in Eastern Europe as well, technology is the sector that tops the list, followed by advertising, gaming industry, e-commerce, cybersecurity, construction; and Poland seems to be the greatest host of these super growing companies (hosting half of the companies that made on the list) chased by Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Estonia.
And while Poland is a home to the largest number of the fastest growing companies in Eastern Europe, Czech STRV leads the way as the fastest growing company in this region. STRV is a top-tier, one-stop mobile app development shop working with leading startups from top US accelerators. When it comes to employee growth, Bulgarian BULPROS Consulting is on top adding 868 employees to the company, followed by Czech Moravia and Czech ZOOT Group creating 605 and 530 job positions respectively.
The highest average growth rate in Eastern Europe is 243% (that of STRV), whereas the lowest is 37.30% (Czech Flowmon Networks).
