MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2018 to be held on 28 June 2018 by MIT Enterprise Forum Greece in cooperation with the NCSR DEMOKRITOS.

O competition MITEF Greece Startup Competition held in Greece for four ^to a row in order to act as an “accelerator” for the acceleration in the growth of Greek startups, active in technology. Through the competition, participants further develop their business skills, interconnect with the local and international network and seek broad recognition beyond the Greek border.

The event will be welcomed by Nicolas Negroponte , Co-Founder and Director, for 20 years from the date of its foundation, MIT Media Lab . Mr. Negroponte, through his extensive experience in research, finance and business, will refer to international trends and the emergence of innovative technology opportunities for the business ecosystem of Greece.

In addition, during the event, talks will be held by Michalis Tzanes , Technology Entrepreneur, on the topic “How the Greek Startup Can Be Established in the US” and Marios Chrysolouris , Chief Executive Officer of FreshStrips , who will report on his participation in last year’s contest and especially the subsequent development of the company after its emergence as a winner in 2017.
