CityCrop enters the Startupbootcamp IoT cohort in London as one of the 10 finalists in the IoT – Connected Devices category. The selection of the top ten startups included a thorough review of 425 applications coming from 61 countries. Only 21 of the applicants have been invited to attend the Startupbootcamp Selection Days on July 6-8th in front of more than 100 mentors, experts, and investors. The final decision has been made following a 3-day selection process by the program partners themselves: Cisco, DLL and Premier Farnell.
Take a look at the official video from the Startupbootcamp IoT selection days:
Startupbootcamp is an accelerator program for startup companies developing a connected device within Consumer IoT (wearables, assisted living, connected homes) and Industrial IoT (smart environment, smart factories, and smart retail). During a 3-month program, participating startups gain free access to office space, mentorship, and funding, alongside networking opportunities with prominent investors and experts from the London startup scene.
Each of the 10 participants will also receive financial support of €15,000 in cash and access to a fast prototyping lab. The choice of applicants for the cohort is quite versatile and it ranges from security to intelligent horse monitoring technology and smart manufacturing:
