The JRC is organising a workshop which will focus on financial instruments as support to innovation and tech transfer projects in the Western Balkans countries and, in general, in the Danube region. The event will take place on the 1^st and 2^ndMarch in Belgrade (Serbia).

The objectives of the workshop are to identify existing financial instruments that support innovation and technology transfer activities in the region, explore where the evident gaps exist and explore ways to address currently unmet demand using synergistic solutions. The workshop also aims to strengthen and cement an emerging community of practice on these issues that should help to maximise the impact of innovation on regional development.
