SUMMARY:Volos Startup Weekend
DESCRIPTION:The organization of the 5th Volos Startup Weekend is a fact. Startup Weekend is a global movement that promotes young people’s entrepreneurship and encourages the realization of innovative ideas. It is aimed at people with talent and creativity. \nIt is the largest community of young entrepreneurs who has organized more than 800 meetings in 100 countries over the past two years. The Startup Weekend of the city of Volos was one of the first Startup Weekend organized in our country and it only counts 5 unique events. Up to now\, more than 400 people have participated in it from all over Greece. The event will be held on 24-26 November at the Department of Planning\, Regional Planning and Regional Development in Pedion Areos\, \nDuring weekend meetings\, participants form teams and design original business projects\, which they present to the public as well as to a jury with members from business\, marketing and IT. \nAt the same time\, they have the opportunity to participate in workshops\, as well as to get in touch with potential future collaborators.
