DESCRIPTION:An event for startups\, new entrepreneurs\, investors\, corporate representatives and small and medium-sized businesses looking for new opportunities in the ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship. It will take place in Elefsina on 23 and 24 November 2018. The StartupNow Forum is the point where theory meets the act: parallel events including talks\, exhibitions and 1: 1 meeting are some of the actions that will evolve within an unprecedented weekend. \nOrganization \nThe event is organized by Mantis Business Innovation\, a spin-off startup of the National Technical University of Athens\, developed in the Eurobank EGG incubator and was awarded as the best startup in the internal evaluation system of the 5th cycle. \nWhy in Elefsina? \nThe city of Elefsina – the European Capital of Culture for 2021. A city that combines the industrial activity of the country\, the cultural emergence of Europe and the creativity of the place. The existence of the largest Greek industries\, the logistics companies and the operation of the Port make Eleusina a pole to enable the startups to close business partnerships and trade agreements with the productive fabric of the country. \nPartners\, Sponsors\, Supporters: The ecosystem behind the StartupNow Forum \nThe StartupNow Forum is being carried out in cooperation with a variety of actors in the business setting of Greece: private companies\, public bodies and educational institutions and entrepreneurship organizations are helping the project to be held in Elefsina this November with one of the strategic partners of the European Capital of Culture in 2021. \nThe StartupNow Forum is under the auspices of the Municipalities of Elefsina\, the National Technical University of Athens and the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce. The action is already supported by giants of the country’s business scene\, such as Hellenic Petroleum Group and Eurobank\, and all major companies that will participate will be announced in the next period. \nThe organization and support of the event are being attended by offering strategic assistance to representatives of the Greek ecosystem of new entrepreneurship such as Revolut (Fintech)\, Reload Greece (accelerator in London)\, Egg enter-grow-go incubator\, GreenTech Challenge NTUA\, Owiwi (HR)\, City Crop (Agrotech)\, and dozens of other startups will participate in the conference as speakers\, panel judges and panel coordinators. The supporting ecosystem that has been created is expected to involve all Greek venture capitals. \nWhat does the StartupNow Forum offer? \nFor the first time in Greece\, a competition for entrepreneurship will be combined with a forum that will develop the modern tools of new entrepreneurship\, analyze the new technological trends\, create the right conditions for networking and award the best Greek startups. The Forum will evolve with many parallel sessions and parallel actions such as 1: 1 meeting with investors\, corporate executives and other representatives of new entrepreneurship that will trigger new partnerships and sharing ideas between new and ambitious ventures and established entrepreneurs. \nDiscussions and speeches in the context of the proceedings of the Conference will be developed in the areas of: \n\nFINTECH & REGTECH\nAGROTECH\nTOURISM | INDUSTRY OF EXPERIENCE\nVCs & CROWDFUNDING\nENVIRONMENT & ENERGY\nHEALTHTECH\nCREATIVE INDUSTRIES\nIoT & BIG DATA\nSMART CITIES\nBLOCK CHAIN\nARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE\nLOGISTICS\n\n60 Speakers-15 Speeches in 8 thematic sections: Speeches will be held in the main hall for various themes that will evolve throughout the day.\nStartup\, Venture Capitals and Enterprise Reports. In the second room\, there will be an exhibition of startups and business with banners and booths \n\n1: 1 Meetings & Networking: In the third room there will be numbered tables that will serve 1: 1 meeting between startups-investors\, startups-startups\, business startups\, depending on what each person wants from the event.\nPitching contest amongst the startups: Under the event\, a pitching competition will take place to promote the best Greek startups.\nParticipate in matchmaking platform in collaboration with Greek startup\nAccess to a platform for evaluation and registration of all new innovative companies of Mantis Business Innovation\n\nFor each incubator\, accelerator\, or venture capital\, an entry package will be enabled and startuppers will be able to activate a Startup Exhibition package that will ensure participation in the exhibition booth team\, which will be accompanied by the following benefits: \n\n3 Weekly Tickets\n3 revolute cards\nAccess to the Mantis BI platform\nLogo on the conference page\nLogo in the booklet of the conference\nAccess to the report\nAccess to speeches\nAccess to the competition\nAccess Matchmaking tool\nConference material\nOpportunity to compete\nOvernight exposure at 1.2 x 1.2 m\nLunch & Coffee for the three members for the first day\nVisit and tour to the archaeological site of Elefsina
