DESCRIPTION:After the last year\, German-Slovak Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GSCIC) is organizing the second edition of Innovation Day. The event takes place on September 26th\, 2018\, in Mlynica. You can register until September 14th. \nInnovation Day puts together those who are active in Slovakia\nInnovation Day brings together “global players and hidden champions active in Slovakia with innovative startups”. \nThe event focuses on several themes from Innovation strategies of global players\, through Inspiring success stories of startups and Smart Factory up to Intellectual property rights and Effective ways of supporting startups. All the topics are divided into several agenda sections. \nFirstly\, you are invited to a conference where the latest trends in manufacturing and the contribution of startups will be discussed. \nYou can listen to such topics as  Innovations – the True Source of Competitive Advantage by Artur Bobovnický (Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency)\, Crowdinvesting – a new\, innovative way to co-own and build global leaders out of Slovakia by Michal Nešpor from Crowdberry\, or Driving success: HOW you innovate determines WHAT you innovate by Ján Uriga from PwC. \nSecondly\, the startup presenting the most innovative idea will receive the Startup & Innovation Award and wins EUR 2\,000. You’ll also have a chance to vote for the one you think presented the most innovative idea. \nThe Innovation Day also brings in a special offer for startups. Event co-organizer Slovak Business Agency will sponsor one ticket per Slovak startup at full price. \nInnovation Day Bratislava \nMeet potential partners and develop ideas\nBranding as the third section will provide companies with a chance to present products and ideas at the innovation fair. The brands will address relevant participants\, CEOs or innovation managers. \nApart from GSCIC\, you can find PricewaterhouseCoopers Slovakia\, Schaeffler Slovakia\, Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency\, and SEGULA Technologies among the exhibitors.
