DESCRIPTION:iCEE.fest 2019\, the biggest festival in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to internet and technology transformations to be held in Bucharest\, brings a series of investors who have hundreds of millions of euros in the stakes. \nUPGRADE 100 is the new format of iCEE.fest\, and start-up.ro supports the pitching competition The UPGRADE 100 Floors Elevator\, which allows startups in Romania and not only to fight for a 50\,000-euro prize offered by the investment fund venture capital venture GapMinder Venture Partners. \nThe festival announced the two-day agenda \, which included several events in parallel. \nAt the second session\, UPGRADE Stage 2\, there will be investors who have hundreds of millions of euros in accounts. Among those who will discuss the most important investment aspects for startups in the region are: \n\nDimitris Kalavros-Gousiou – Velocity Partners VC\nOndrej Bartos – Credo Ventures\nMihai Sfinţescu – Abilito Capital\nIulian Cîrciumariu – V7 Capital\nDragoş Stănescu – O Day Capital\nCosmin Ochişor and Dan Mihăescu – GapMinder Venture Partners\nMihaly Szalontay – Flashpoint Venture Capital\nMălin Ştefănescu – TechAngels Romania\nPanagiotis Karampinis – Endeavor Greece\nKrzysztof Palucki – OTB Ventures\nVlad Buşilă – Mozaik\n\nGap Minder is a venture capital fund in Romania with a focus on startups that develops software and services. We also wrote about it last year when founder Dan Mihăiescu stated that the fund will have 26 million euros for investments in local startups or in Central and Eastern Europe\, with the final fund size of 40 million euros . \nThe last investment of Credo Ventures was worth 56 million euros\, with total assets of 127 million euros. One of the startups he invested in is UiPath\, the first Romanian unicorn. \n\nOTB Ventures is another firm that makes significant investments in startups. The last two investments amount to 3.3 million euros and 34 million dollars. It is a venture capital firm in Central and Eastern Europe that invests in start-up growth\, post-product\, high-tech\, with unique technologies. \nFlashpoint Venture Capital recently launched a 50m-euro investment fund for startups in Central and Eastern Europe. \nThe latest investments made by Velocity.Partners VC\, whose value is public\, were 300\,000 euros and 380\,000 dollars. \nThe Flashpoint investment fund has invested $ 49.3 million so far.
