SUMMARY:Hands on Introduction to Raspberry Pi I/O with Python
DESCRIPTION:This is a two-day training totaling 12 hours of hands-on classroom tutor-led training for beginners in Raspberry Pi. \nParticipants will learn the following: \n\nbasic setup of the Raspberry Pi (RPi)\nbasic Linux commands to control the RPi (Raspbian Distro)\nRPi networking basics\nIntroduction to Python 3\nGeneral Purpose I/O (GPIO) pins of the RPi\nPractical Labs with sensors (motion\, light\, switches\, distance and other basic analog inputs\, encoders\, actuators such as servos and motors\, output to LED matrices and more\n\nThe training will be led by seasoned STEM educator Mr. Costas Chremos and is geared towards beginner to medium level skill participants. \nThe course will include access to equipment\, sensors and other components for successful completion of the workshop elements but participants who already own their own RPi are encouraged to bring their own devices too.
