SUMMARY:GreenTech Symposium 2019
DESCRIPTION:On  October 23-24 in Technopolis will be held for the first time a different scientific conference that will connect the academic community with the productive fabric of Greece.\nGreenTech Symposium 2019 will feature research by Greek scientists and Greek startups in the fields of Energy\, the Environment\, Smart Cities\, New Advanced Materials and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. \nThe GreenTech Symposium is co-organized by the Athens Digital Lab of the Municipality of Athens\, Innovathens and Mantis BI\, and is scientifically supported by the Economic and Sustainable Development Unit of the National Technical University of Athens. Also noteworthy is the support from the Panhellenic Association of Environmental Protection Enterprises (PASEPPE)\, the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Company (EEDSA)\, the Hellenic Association of Biogas Producers (ESPB)\, Synergy and Ecocity. Finally\, the launch of GreenTech Challenge # 3 will be officially announced as the multi-conference itself is a product of the GreenTech Challenge entrepreneurship and innovation competition. \nThe aim is to integrate information and create a mixed ecosystem of research and entrepreneurship around new green technologies. To achieve this goal\, the GreenTech Symposium 2019 will evolve into several parallel sessions: \n50 Speakers in 12 thematic units.\nPredefined 1: 1 Business Meetings & Networking: Researchers will have the opportunity to meet with company representatives to commercialize their research. Accordingly\, company representatives will contact academic research in order to improve the product or service of their companies.\nPanels & Workshops: A wide range of talks and workshops on environmental issues and advanced green technologies will be available.\nExhibition: The exhibition will consist of exhibitors who are startup companies and large companies active in the field of environment.\nCall for Papers for researchers and new business products\nGreenTech Awards: The forum will host a business development competition.\nParticipate in a matchmaking platform and app for B2B meetings.\nAccess to the evaluation and registration platform of all new innovative companies (Mantis IMS).\nVisit GreenTech Symposium 2019 for more information.
