SUMMARY:Global Legal Hackathon Bucharest
DESCRIPTION:Global Legal Hackathon will be between February 23 and February 25\, programmers will team up with lawyers / legal professionals to jointly build technical solutions to issues that affect the efficiency and timeliness of the legal action. The participating teams will generate ideas to serve either legal service as a private business or legal services of public interest (eg good governance\, legal legislation\, facilitation of access to justice\, etc.). \nThese ideas can take the form of a software program\, a website or a mobile application\, and at the end of the three-day working process\, teams have to present their solutions to a jury of 5 entrepreneurs and caliber professionals in the legal system Romanian. Teams can appeal to any of the 13 dedicated mentors who will be available during the hackathon. \nThe winning team’s project will enter the second round of the competition\, which will take place online and will end with the designation of 8 finalists. They will compete for the global prize\, which will be awarded at an international gala held in New York on April 21\, 2018. \n
