50 teams have already entered the competition and are ready to come up with proposals on how to change aspects of society in just 24 hours. Teams registered will have the chance to win prizes in cash or gadgets worth € 15,000 for each category.
“At the end of the 24 hours, we want to find as many solutions as possible for the problems of everyday life. DevHacks is the place where participants can create new connections, develop new skills, and last but not least, have entertainment. We will make every effort to create a comfortable and enjoyable work environment. We believe in change and that is why we invite everyone who thinks, accept the challenge and take part in DevHacks this weekend. More than 60 participating teams expected by the end of the week and entries are open until November 16, “said Diana – Elena Burlancea, Project Manager – DevHacks 2018.
Last year’s edition was marked by ingenious solutions that teams have generated for today’s issues: solutions for better company delegation and application ecosystems for hypermarkets to help big stores deliver better service delivery and security, to customers.
This year, for a greater impact on society, organizers have proposed a range of challenges in different areas: Fintech, Web & Mobile, Future Banking, Security and Digital Transformation. Thus, for 24 hours, the participants have the opportunity to put their ideas into practice and develop an application together with the team members they belong to.
At DevHacks, each team will also enjoy the support of mentors, IT professionals, who will give them advice throughout the competition. At the end of the 24 hours, the participants will present their applications and the jury will focus on the impact on society, the level of creativity and the technologies used.
The fun and relaxation will not miss the event. The Relaxation & Fun areas, made with our partners: Tassimo, Fruit Break, Relaxopedia and VR Center, will facilitate the interaction between the participants and the entertainment.
