Dyslexics SaaS start-up 3asyR, that facilitates the reading of Internet users with learning difficulties and dyslexia, won the Start Tel Aviv Athens competition that took place two days ago at the Greek Impact Hub in Athens, startupper.gr reported.
With this award, the founder Maria Tsiana and her colleague Vasiliki Chrysovitsioti won a ticket for a five-days training during the DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival, that will take place in the capital of Israel, Tel Aviv from 3rd to 7th of September this year.
“We did it! 3asyR won the first award and is going to Israel in September! #team #startup #dyslexia Thank you Ισραήλ στην Ελλάδα | Israel in Greece for this opportunity!”, wrote the startup team on their Facebook page.
“This shows once again Israel’s willingness to connect the startups from Israel and Greece with each other, and to provide a five days training at the big technology festival DLD Tel Aviv in September for the winning team, offering them mentoring and networking opportunities and contact with other startup founders and of course investors”, the Ambassador said.
Dimitri Kokkinakis, the Co-Founder of Impact Hub Athens said that the 3easryR success story should encourage any company that is interested in developing and expanding the positive social impact.
Founded in 2016 in Dublin, 3easryR is an online plug-in currently applicable to Google Chrome that helps dyslexics and people with learning disabilities read easier online. Being a dyslexic herself, Maria Tsiana developed this tool that allows the user to highlight the words on its own by clicking the text and move the mouse to the right, just like a marker does. The app provides options for customized experience as well.
