Techstars METRO Open to SEE Startups in the Catering Sector

Techstars METRO Accelerator, located in Berlin, announced the opening of the second application round for SEE startups. The program is targeting startups developing innovative digital products or services that are applicable to the hotel, restaurant and overall catering sector. The ideal applicant should propose a digital solution that will help boost commercial sales in the catering market and will deliver added value.

Following the great success of the first round, Techstars METRO is looking forward to selecting the second round of 10 best startups in the category. Every participant will receive an investment of up to EUR 120.000 along with access to a pool of professionals whose expertise they are welcome to use in further shaping the digital solution. The program will last for 3 months starting from the middle of September and all startups will be located in Berlin throughout the acceleration process. Applicants are not restricted to team members age, maturity of the company, nor the legal structure. Furthermore, selected companies coming from non-EU countries will be offered help in the visa application process.

Starting from April 12 and by June 20 at the latest, all startups involved with developing related solutions can apply for participation in the program. The process begins with filling out this application form. Selected participants will be invited to come to Berlin on September 12, where they will spend 3 months working with around 100 mentors coming from different parts of the world. Upon the successful completion of the program, participants will have a chance to present their startups in front of investors during a Demo Day taking place on December 7, as announced by EU-Startups.com.
