DigitalK Startup Competition will be part of the Digital|K Conference taking place in Sofia on May 19-20, 2016. The two day conference is a leading startup and digital event that gathers founders of innovative companies and digital experts in a networking setting. The conference is all about sharing valuable industry updates and insights on the recent trends shaping the world of technology. For three years in a row this event is co-organized with Bulgarian VC fund LAUNCHub and the fruit of this cooperation has soon become one of the most remarking tech and startup conferences in SEE.
The DigitalK Startup Competition brings the best startups from the SEE to present their innovative business idea in front of a pool of EU venture capital funds and the majority of the tech community in the region. This year, the startup competition will be organized in collaboration with both LAUNCHub and Microsoft Ventures. As reported by LAUNCHub, the best 15 semi-finalists will pitch before world-leading accelerators, VC funds and tech journalists. Only the ones that will impress the jury with their brightest idea and most convincing pitch will compete for the main award of EUR 10 000.
Startups and bootstrap companies from SEE are encouraged to apply and become a potential winner of this cash prize. Application forms are available at F6S and the deadline for submission is May 1. Shortlisted applicants for the DigitalK Startup Competition will receive free passes for the conference. They will be notified on their status by May 9.
